The Alumni Awards honours an EPFL alumnus or alumna who has distinguished himself or herself over the course of their career.
Doctor Honoris Causa
Every year, EPFL awards the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to preeminent researchers and other figures who have made a significant contribution to science and engineering.
Outstanding Commitment Award
The Outstanding Commitment Award recognizes exceptional employee’s contributions to the EPFL community
Polysphere Awards
The Polysphere Awards are given out by EPFL students every year to the professors who have stood out for their excellence in teaching. The winners are selected through an online vote.
One winner is chosen for each EPFL school, and the professor who receives the most votes overall is given the Golden Polysphere Award.
